How do you plan for retirement?

UPDATE: Reading through everybody's answers, I'm starting to see hope is really bleak in today's world for financial freedom. I mean I get it. Corruption. Price hike. Very low interest on bank savings. It's like a world that wants the rest of the world to keep working and working and working to death.

But even so, even so, I hope one day hope pours again. I hope we get the good governance we're all desperate for but gave up on. The better future. A freer, happier one. One day, one day, it will get better. I pray.

Have a good union pension going, 3 company pensions that are smaller. A 401k thats doing really good and some real estate to sell when I officially retire. 5 acres out in the countryside with a couple rentals on it and a house in a really nice area in a larger city.
I just survive today tbh.
