@caPnAhab yes it definitely is on the cards. I'm at this stage trying to figure out what I need to consider, what is variable and what isn't, and that sort of thing. There's a very real chance that buying an apartment is outside of my reach, so I have to work out what to do should that be the case. I'm at the beginning of figuring these things out and don't know what I don't know

@KiwiDan Can you think of any expenses you can cut out? If I still had my car I couldn't afford my rent. Not with gas, maintenance, insurance, registration, all that

@caPnAhab not really. I need my train card to get to work, and that's $80-100 per fortnight too. I don't have subscriptions except Warhammer+ which is $100 off my credit card once per year. I don't smoke or drink, I don't have a vehicle. I've cut things as thin as I can already
