This is the time, the time to make a better choice than the usual
What was expected for early Monday morning came this morning Saturday, and i believe what i shall attempt to do is to refrain from impulse purchasing more Plato, and enjoy what i have for a whole month, a month of testing, and then if i'm still a Plato nut when the next monthly funds come through i get one or a small amount at a time, so that a savings plan is implemented.
It's been years of being in debt, there's a dirty feeling inside when i yet again exhaust my funds. If there's an on sale book that catches my eye those could be a little treat, but i must realize and let it sink in that what i've gathered over the years is more than sufficient for a lifetime let alone a month of testing, so it should be easy, Kobo Plus has tons of stuff i'm interested in and a few key Plato volumes were recently added, my expectation of what i was planning on getting if truly what i want shall be acquired in a month from now, and to feel that anticipation grow and overcoming my slavish and mindless tendencies to get things and then not get around to reading them will begin to be cured.
The beneficial aspects are layered for beginning a Savings approach now, what appeals to me most is what Robin Waterfield would describe as the soft aspect, of the inner psychological domain, as he described the inner aspect of Plato's Republic in his sort of lengthy Introduction to that work, as opposed to the hard aspect of Politics.
To further whet my Plato appetite i can watch videos on Youtube, and i have a couple of those Great Courses on Audible that cover Plato etc. So i won't be lacking anything during this month of righting years of mismanagement of my funds.
