Life happens AND usually without a warning.

Yesterday I lost my job of 14 yrs without warning.
Thankfully I have the means to be okay till something else comes along.

This is NOT a pity post ..... or fishing for comments post....... this is totally sincere.
Always be prepared!

@skmokisses It looks like you have a great attitude about all of this, and that helps a lot in moving forward. I've been through this a couple of times and, each time, emerged with something new, different and better in various ways. I learned a few things along the way. First, when you trip, fall forward...forward is the direction you will need to go. Also, having a generally positive and optimistic attitude shines through. I think that in general, people sense whether or not you are positive and optimistic, or negative, and that impacts on how they react to you. I also looked at losing a job as a first step in starting a new adventure, and it always turned out that way. I went on to do new and exciting things that were never part of the original career plan, and it's all been wonderful.
