@SpudMuffin I have the greatest respect for accountants. Their accurate and timely recording of the past is the foundation of forecasting. But it does have limiations in that innovation cant be measured or predicted..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman if a business attempts to innovate, then the outcome (good or bad) will be reflected in the company's accounts.

@SpudMuffin I agree. But its not always a positive. Paticularly at the start of the process.. And when companies measure a CEO by the next P/L statement, innovation is not front of mind..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman True enough! And when they have several businesses in several countries, it’s easy to manipulate the books in one of them ;)
