Do they post open positions internally? Better to wait for something that looks more to your liking and put in a transfer request. Otherwise it might not be seen as a question of your toughness as much as you possibly being a disrupter.

@dancingtongue yes there are positions internally and I like what i do it’s just I am one of two persons who does the same thing full of a team who all does the same thing and depend on me and the other person. The other person has been doing this for about 25 years and this is my first time in this field so it’s been hard. I don’t know why they just switched me, I should have said something in the beginning but I didn’t for fear of retaliation and because I was only 3 weeks in,

@JaneCas Perhaps they wanted the person who has been doing it for 25 years to mentor you so you could be the replacement?

If you were able to make a lateral switch with no recourse, I would make the switch to a more supportive team.

@Maritocorneo that is what I have been this but I just feel like a failure but again I never asked to be part of this team especially being that this was my first time transitioning into a completely different fields. I am going out an HR request, wish me good luck please and thank you
