The story of the clay-footed giant and the king of Babylon
The king of Babylon had a strange dream: a huge statue was cast from top to bottom in gold, silver, bronze and iron, but its feet were half iron and half mud. Suddenly, a flying stone fell on the colossus's clay foot, and the colossus fell to the ground and shattered, and the stone turned into a mountain. The prophet Daniel of Judah explained that gold, silver, bronze and iron symbolize his kingdom and the other two nations that arose after him, respectively, and that the statue means that the last nation will be half strong, half weak, and eventually separated, and its citizens will be mixed with all kinds of people, and they will not be compatible... The stone that broke the giants into mountains was a new nation foreshadowed by God.
