Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I got asked by a friend that doesn't do Jiu Jitsu why I still train at my age (51).
The truth is yes age will eventually take me out of competing and hard training, but as long as my body and mind are able, I will train and compete.
When we are young we crave for competition-no one grows hoping to be the worst. We were always striving to better ourselves.
As we get older we we tend to become complacent and satisfied not wanting to push ourselves anymore. We gain weigh, form bad habits the list goes on. I don't want that, I still want to learn and get better not just in Jiu-Jitsu, but as a person and that can not happen with out pushing yourself and setting new goals. So until the lord says I will continue to push my body to enlighten my mind. We have our vises this just happens to be mine and I am good with that.
