The guys there were really chill, and they helped me improve my shooting to the point of it being semi-reasonable. I was aiming at a target about 10 M away, while the rest of 'em were doing about 20, using a practice recurve bow that I borrowed from the back. I think I'll buy my own bow before I go back there again. And the actual shooting itself was pretty fun; there's something about that tactile experience of pulling a string back and letting it go that's deeply satisfying to me, guess working an office job will do that to ya.
I'm proud of myself for getting into this whole thing, I know that this is the type of stuff I need to be doing more of.
