Can someone reply on your post and immediately block you?

I am curious as a question I posted says there was a reply but I can't see it.
It does , of course, defeat the purpose.

There are a number of people here who do that. A health care professional would be better able to answer the "why" than I am.. My advice is just be grateful you wont hear from them again..😷

@turnedtostone Remember that for some, this place is a refuge where they can release feelings and thoughs that get stepped on in the real world. Best not to take them too seriously. And definitely dont assume they are right in any opinions they express. They are just venting..😷

I will never spend time worrying over who blocked me or who needed to vent.
I don't understand why anyone would.
