132 days to go

A work sheet, continually revised in order to chart my progress through the books being read. The countdown in the title corresponds to the time roughly when i shall place multiple orders that will constitute the majority of 2023's spending.

I have cancelled all my subscriptions, but have not as of yet purchased anything as is my wont when making a selfless reduction of expenditure.

Brakel - 4 volumes in one, to be finished before the next big order

The Christian's Reasonable Service - 8%

Turretin - in 3 long volumes, i must finish at least the first one in 134 days, and preferably be close to half of the 2nd then. ... it would be more adventurous to aim to complete all 3 before the order.

Institutes of Elenctic Theology
I - 15%

Bavinck - in 4 volumes, all to be completed in 134 days

Reformed Dogmatics
I - 23%

Calvin - 2 volumes in 1, to be finished way before next order

Institutes of the Christian Religion - 7%

Beeke - will be 4 volumes, 3 currently all long, to be completed fluidly when 4th is available about 5 to 8 months after the 4th is released.

Reformed Systematic Theology
I - 2%

Gill - this guy was the first writing Baptist theologian, and there is a lot to read of him, i just wanna see the one i'm reading be at least 20% in 134 days

Major Works of John Gill - 1%

Early Church Fathers - so far just Clement of Rome super short chapters, i also am going through specific patristic guys like Athanasius, Augustine, Origen, Tertullian etc

and these would be frequent, almost every other day

Bullinger

Sibbes - 7 volumes in 1

Works of Richard Sibbes - 2%

Vos

Reymond

Letham

Shedd

Dabney

Rushdoony

An Informed Faith - 8%

Sproul

Philokalia - in 5 volumes

I - 5%

SECULAR SOURCES

The Gulag Archipelago - in 3 volumes
I - 13%

I shall try to keep from putting Mastricht on the daily schedule UNTIL the 3rd volume is available for a kindle edition.

As mentioned in 135 days left post, i am gonna be on board for the 40 volume Owen project, as they are doing kindle editions which are released before the hardcovers, they aim to be completed by 2028, i deduce from that that sometime in 2029 i shall die a most serene death in the arms of a mack truck. Further thoughts shall be edited onto this post until it gets close to if not in fact December 14, 2022.

I might decide to make this the only post i keep editing until the big order. Would do the countdown in edit, and focus on the progress of the reads, always on kindle, so in percentage, but gradually, and not all at once. This fluff which is my thoughts would be terminated for the sake of a clean crisp list of names titles, dates and percentages. When the post is too long, then a new post would be begun which would be thee post, and that would be simply a continuation of the books being read in the simple progression vision. Each post would be able to contain 200 books give or take, so ultimately less than 1 post per year. This is going to aid my attention to the books, a book-centric view and lifestyle, and if i want to use my own words for anything i must find another post from someone else in order to verbally display personality etc.

I'm not sure how this is post-apocalyptic fiction, but I admire your thirst! 馃槉馃憤

@SomeMichGuy Thanks, one guy in a video said about theology "Once you start you just keep going, never stopping"

Most people don't go the way they expect.
