The journey of each persons soul is a journey of lessons learned through many many!! Incarnations.

Its a unique phenomena.

Who knows at what stage this person's soul is at in their current incarnation.

You could jump into a soul.

Only to find your knowledge and understanding of life suddenly reversed backward by hundreds, if not thousands of years.

Imagine being transported into the soul of a debased human being.

When in actuality you yourself were only 5 Incarnations from Sainthood.

What a waste of learning, that would be.

Also there is no guarantee that you would be choosing the right soul.
The person you choose may be idk one of the best Athletes of our era yet has still to learn the value of kindness.

Because on face value noone knows the truth that lies beneath a beating heart... do they?

@Kae20 that's why I said soul and mind. I'll keep my memories and thoughts and they will theirs. imo it's a great power because u can experience everything in life, being a man, a woman, a dog, a bird, a blind person, a mute, an aboriginal person in some reservation, and you would never die, unless it happens by accident. I don't want to be immortal, but I'd also experience 2400, the melancoly would probably hurt the most tho.
