@DownTheStreet Hamas is an immoral and ineffectual organization, but that doesn't give Israel a free pass to displace native peoples, run an apartheid state, and bomb news offices. Iran does support Hamas as you say, but it's not as though they provide a majority of the support; Turkey and Qatar give 'em a lot of help too. Saudi Arabia supported Hamas pretty strongly until the US strongarmed them out of it; it's a popular cause among Muslims.
