I always thought it was weird that fraudsters go to prison.

Like yeah fraud is pretty bad, but it hardly seems to warrant shoving someone in a cage for years of their life. Like they're not a physical threat to anyone, just take their shit and make them do community service or whatever.

Yeah, like fraud is more than just "pretty bad" many, many times. Unfortunately, even putting someone in a cage doesn't always stop them from continuing to try and scam people, and succeeding.
