Solidarity After A Concert
The other night, I went to see Foo Fighters at a big music festival in New Jersey with 2 friends, as well as seeing Weezer, The Beach Boys, and many other different bands. I found out right after the show that some guy who was younger than us tried to start a fight with my best friend for no reason. He even put his hands on him and he pushed him and it took every bit of patience my friend has to not kick his ass, well that and he didn't wanna go to jail.
Oh and to make things worse, this kid and other people near him were trying to put all the blame on my friend even though he would never start randomly pushing people or anything to start a fight. I've known him for almost 20 years and that's something he'd never do. It'd be very out of character of him to do.
Well, turns out in the midst of all that chaos, my best friend ended up accidentally peeing his pants. When he told us that, I said "Are you serious?" and he said "Yes." And then we were all heading to the bathrooms. Well, on our way there, I kept my promise to him I made years ago that if something embarrassing like that happened to him, I'd do the same thing in solidarity because he's my best friend and I care about him.
So on our walk there, I stood in place for a few seconds as we walked and I peed my pants, but also keep in mind I have bladder control issues and couldn't even hold it, anyway. So then I said "It's okay. I just peed my pants, too." Then we waited for our other friend to finish up in the bathroom so we can leave and drive back home.
The thing that sucks is we didn't have a change of clothes, so we had to drive all the way back to our home state in those wet clothes. Was not a comfortable car ride at all, and it was very late at night. Other than a few stuck up assholes there at the concert, we had a great time there. So many good bands there.
I realize it may seem weird or stupid or unusual that I peed my pants because of my best friend peeing his, but hey I did it because he was very angry and upset with that whole situation and I felt bad. It ruined a portion of the concert for him at an otherwise great time we had.
