Nursing home pooping incident

I often visit a friend in a nursing home, she is in her late 80’s but mentally ok. On one visit we were in the lounge and she asked a member of staff to take her to the toilet. She does walk with a frame ok. When she came back she explained that it was embarrassing as she had an accident on the way and messed herself.
