Telling some on about an ’accident’
I have found a good way to innocently explain to someone that you have had accidents.
We have an elderly friend, shred in her 70’s and I went to see her to move her old fridge as it was being replaced.
I asked her if she could keep a secret, and I explained how a few days earlier I was in town and felt I needed to ‘break wind’ and that unfortunately I ‘followed through’ and messed myself in public. She was a little surprised and asked what did I do. And I explained I was able to get to the public toilets but wet myself on the way, and I tried to clean up in a toilet cubicle. She asked why I did not use the disabled toilet as it was larger, I didn’t like to.
She went on to tell me that a similar thing happened to her a few years ago and that she now wares a pull up if she is going out for any length of time.
