Asking where the public toilets are

I was in the city and thought I would try something. I put on an act that I was needing the toilet badly , trying to look ill. I them looked for an older woman or someone who may be a bit unwise, and ask if they new where the public toilets were. Interesting reactions from: round the corner. Are you ok to which I answered‘I’m nearly doing it in my pants’ . Will post some more reactions when I’ve done this a few more times.
