Worst Paddle

Just bored, so thought I would ask something. What type of paddle material stings the worst? And what size paddle is the worst?

I get a small clear plastic paddle (lexan or acrylic I believe) and it really stings a lot.

16" long, 1" thick, oak paddles are almost too brutal to use. Lighter pine or fir paddles, 1/2" thick, are better for play and can still get the job done very well. Smaller oak hairbrushes are an excellent spanking implement too.
