I had a friend in college that married the love of her life one summer ... got drunk on her wedding night and pulled that stunt ! He was so shocked and outraged that he took his wedding band off and threw it as far as he could , packed his crap , flew home and had the marriage annulled . He never spoke to her again! He remarried , had kids and made a good life for his family until his passing . She never married again and will barely talk to anyone that knows what happened 18 years ago .
