I was punished a plastic sheet was put on my bed and i was made sleep naked no blanketd pillows if i wwt i had stay in puddle till day light

@Mattypp I think in the old days decades ago lots of us had to deal with more severe treatment of bedwetting than applies nowdays.

@WetPeter I think that's probably true. Unfortunately, it was seen as a behavior issue rather than simply a medical issue the kid couldn't help. Even today some parents and caregivers haven't gotten the message, sadly.

@WetPeter That's unfortunate. My parents never punished me for wetting the bed. They did sometimes get angry with me for wetting my pants during the day though but even that wasn't too bad.
