Having randomly tampon orgasms
Muscle contractions in the vagina around a tampon can, in some cases, contribute to or trigger an orgasm.
When the pelvic floor muscles (which surround the vagina) contract, blood flow to the pelvic area increases and the genitals become more sensitive. If the tampon also presses against or stimulates sensitive areas on the front wall of the vagina—near what is often called the G-spot—this, combined with muscle contractions, can lead to sexual arousal and orgasm.
Here are some key factors regarding how this works:
Internal stimulation: The tampon may accidentally end up in a position where it presses against nerve endings connected to the clitoral network or the G-spot.
Pelvic floor muscles: Reflexive or conscious contractions of these muscles (the same muscles used in Kegel exercises) are a central part of the physical orgasm. The muscles of the vagina can squeeze a tampon very tightly. The vagina is surrounded by the powerful pelvic floor muscles, which have strong natural elasticity and can contract with great force.
The tampon may give way and compress slightly just as you squeeze the hardest, but as soon as your muscles relax, it immediately returns to its normal, expanded shape. Even though the muscles can squeeze the tampon very tightly, it is not dangerous, and the vagina cannot “tear the tampon apart.”In other words, it’s a completely natural anatomical reaction and nothing to worry about.
