I Do Not Like To Wear Shoes In The House

This is a cultural thing, where I am from it would be rude to wear shoes indoors.

Haha yeah we have a lot of complex traditions when it comes to how to be polite, which often is a bit strange to foreigners I think because we are very informal. We never for example wear a suit and tie to work.

Also if you would try to help a woman out of a car or into her seat she would think you were super weird. But the last time I was at a meeting - earlier today - I think I said thank you six times before I could leave the room, to the same person :P

I think cultural differences are fun. I remember a social experiment I saw once where japanese and american businessmen were mingling and the japanese liked to stand really close which made the americans back away because they wanted more space so when you sped it up it looked like the japanese were chasing the americans around the room XD
