I Love Tattoos

Just get something that truly has a meaning to you and you'll never get bored of it. Don't go with whatever is trendy now, or if you do give it a personal twist, it has to be YOUR tattoo, you have to feel it as part of yourself.
My first tattoo was a phoenix on my whole upper back; now a phoenix is a very popular design, which made me a little doubtful at first, but the legend resembled so much my story that it was the only thing that appealed to me. So I tried to make it as unique as possible, started drawing sketches of what I wanted and then took those to a tattoo artist that I had chosen carefully (each one has their personal style, so maybe look around a bit) and with him we made the final design that eventually got on my back. I still love it and wouldn't change a thing about it :D
So just really think about it and when you decide go and get it. Maybe not a huge one like I did the first time, that was a little risky and many tattoo artists would probably advise you against it (mine did 😂)

You can do the hanna art. That's not permanent and you could try different designs.

It took me about 2 years to decide what I wanted.
