I got my very first tattoo the other day. I wanted it to be meaningful, so I got the semicolon.
For those of you who don’t know about project semicolon, it’s a movement where people tattoo the symbol onto their body as a way of representing or showing support for those who suffer from mental illness.
As someone who is dealing with depression and anxiety, I thought it was fitting.
Here it is :
I didn’t want just a normal semicolon. That might’ve been boring, hence the reason for the daisy (it’s my favourite flower) 😌

This is the first time I've heard about the semicolon project. I think it is my favourite punctuation mark; it is certainly the one that creates most debate about its correct use. Yours is beautiful . . .
@Claudianovotny Yeah I agree. There's so many fascinating and wonderful things out there that we don't know about. Makes you eager to learn, doesn't it? :)
@Henal I've always loved learning, but not necessarily in the way that was expected in school! I have a thirst for it, but I can be rather undisciplined. I find that something sparks my interest and then for a while, I do a deep-dive into that subject. I particularly like it when it's something completely new and different I come across.
@Claudianovotny I get that. I'm the same sometimes haha. I guess it's a good thing though. You become aware and less ignorant about the things around you as you learn more.
@Henal Well, I think it's good . . . but I'm not exactly unbiased!!! I did get a bit of a reputation as a geek as a result. (Which, actually, I quite like!)
