I Wear Dresses and Skirts

I always used to wear dresses and skirts, then I stopped for a long time... recently I went through my wardrobe and found loads of lovely clothes I had forgotten I had, including some really pretty skirts...

But here's the thing... they are impractical! Doing housework in them is a nightmare, and with a long skirt I nearly trip trying to go upstairs... really awkward when you get down on the floor and have to get up... the skirt can get caught and nearly rip as you are getting up...

I am thinking... why do we ever wear skirts!!

Maybe I should go back to standard black jeans/trousers!

I am a guy who has worn dresses or skirts for more than 20 years since the absence of a crotch seam is far more comfortable for a man to wear. What you say about long garments is certainly true so those are my choice only during extremely frigid winter weather. Miniskirts are practical, allow freedom of movement, a great suntan on most of your legs and are very comfortable. I donated ALL of my trousers, pants, shorts and everything else with a crotch seam to charity long, long ago. 😊
