I Wear Dresses and Skirts

I always used to wear dresses and skirts, then I stopped for a long time... recently I went through my wardrobe and found loads of lovely clothes I had forgotten I had, including some really pretty skirts...

But here's the thing... they are impractical! Doing housework in them is a nightmare, and with a long skirt I nearly trip trying to go upstairs... really awkward when you get down on the floor and have to get up... the skirt can get caught and nearly rip as you are getting up...

I am thinking... why do we ever wear skirts!!

Maybe I should go back to standard black jeans/trousers!

I guess that has to be true. Doing housework in a LONG skirt would be rather binding, it would seem. I would think that lounging at home would be the time to wear a long skirt. Do you wear skirts to work? Spring is here and maybe the right time to wear skirts to work.

@GuitarMan Yes I have been wearing skirts to work and am liking that. Housework in a short skirt even worse, very sore knees, skirts don't offer the protection of trousers

@Adaydreambeliever I can imagine the pain in your knees doing housework!!! No padding on the floor when scrubbing the bath tub!!! If I'm going to have sore knees, there are other things I would rather do to make them sore than housework!!!😜😂
I love to hear that you are wearing skirts to work, too!!! Not many women wear skirts anymore and I hate it!!! Nothing like seeing a beautiful lady with her beautiful legs showing!!!!😍
