I Wear Dresses and Skirts

I always used to wear dresses and skirts, then I stopped for a long time... recently I went through my wardrobe and found loads of lovely clothes I had forgotten I had, including some really pretty skirts...

But here's the thing... they are impractical! Doing housework in them is a nightmare, and with a long skirt I nearly trip trying to go upstairs... really awkward when you get down on the floor and have to get up... the skirt can get caught and nearly rip as you are getting up...

I am thinking... why do we ever wear skirts!!

Maybe I should go back to standard black jeans/trousers!

Stick to skirts, just wear shorter ones

@TheWildEcho Why didn't I think of that? Mind you I did get very sore knees doing the housework....short skirts wouldn't solve that now would they :P

@TheWildEcho I enjoy wearing them and think it's probably more *me* but very inconvenient for housework and you don't even want to know about the trouble I had trying to garden in a skirt this afternoon :P
