I Like to Wear Skirts

This was a news headline in our local newspaper and all the news channels.
Female volunteer turned away from Festival of Trees for wearing pants instead of dress, skirt.
The girl said, "I thought it was extremely sexist to be honest. I think it's just a way of enforcing really strict stereotypes on genders and these really aren't reasonable rules. Women wearing pants has been a really prominent way that we have shown that we are equal to men. We can do the same work as men and we deserve the same rights as men.”
This prompts me to think of three things: 1) it's about time women got their comeuppance for wearing pants, 2) I'll bet they'd turn me away if I showed up in a skirt(which I would gladly do), and 3) I should be allowed to wear a skirt because men can do the same work as women and deserve the same rights as women.

Lol no ones trying to stifle men's freedom. You have all the luck in the world, u get to hav sex and not worry about pregnancy, u have stronger livers, and more rights.

More rights? What rights do men have that women don't? Women have the right to wear what they want without being labeled. Men don't.

Wearing women's clothes isnt exactly a wonderful right. It's more something we gotta do to fit the ideal of "attractive" Men aren't the ones who gotta deal with worrying about our rights to birth control and abortion. They just get off Scott free

I wouldn't say that exactly. It is easier to leave but the state will eventually find them and force child support payments. Not exactly lucky once one is in the system. Mine was a guaranteed $100 per month raise every year and more when she complained I made too much by working OT.

This is true. I cannot wear a skirt without some social backlash. If I get read by a sales associate I will often not get service. Is that a right? I have been ridiculed in Kohls by SA just for being a man in a dress. Is that OK? Not by my standards but to many being different means suffering the consequences of being who we are.

If you dress to make me look at you, you are dressing for the wrong reasons. Wear what you like because if you are confident that will shine through and make you more attractive to people that really want to be around you. True friends will not care what you wear but stand with you for your convictions . Those that don't may not be the friends that you can count on.

For a small percentage of men who crossdress, yeah that's unfair. But for every other guy they basically get away with way more things socially. If u men sleep around u get called a "stud" or something positive if women do they're "sluts and whores"

It's easy to get out of child support and it's your responsibility anyways. If your gonna have unsafe sex and the girl wants to keep it, your screwed

If you're going to have sex it's irresponsible to not take adequate measures by both parties. It's not just one person's responsibility or right. Both parties need to be responsible. If a guy is unwilling to do that just cut off his pecker and tell him to get lost. He shouldn't be having sex anyway. It isn't about rights. It's about being immature and irresponsible.

Why do girls think they have a "right" to birth control means that every tax payer must pay for it, so they only sleep with bums who can't bring even one condom to the party? If the dud is that poor how desperate are you
