I Love Short Shorts
Just got a pair of Bermuda shorts and alter it into a pair of short shorts, with 5" to 6" above knees.

I made one of my pairs of shorts by cutting the legs off an old pair of track-suit trousers.
Light-grey, elastic-waist, moderately loose-fitting, slightly coarse material outside but a soft lining integral with the outer's fabric. Between one and two inches inside-leg; certainly quite short. Short enough and loose-hemmed enough even to allow hitching up the leg for a wee rather than lowering the waist.
