do shoe stretchers work

im nearly 47 years of age, all my trainers and boots are size 12 uk size, but quite a few trainers are starting to feel a little tight on me, at the end of the shoe, even the size 13s trainers i have on now feel a little tight on my right foot....so i have two shoe stretchers which i got recently...so if i use the stretchers in my trainers that are a little tight, will it stretch them for me successfully?

If you are a runner, jogger or race walker, your feet will spread as you age. Sho stretchers are unlikely to work on trainers, you need to start looking at wider fittings.
