imperfections on my new trainers, what do i do

i bought a pair of asics trainers 6 months ago and only just opened them to wear them now - today, and on one trainer there is excess glue around the end of the shoe, in the stitching? i can't return them now and i wore them outside today...i like the trainers but i'm a bit pissed off by the excess glue which is visible if you hold the shoe up to the light.

would anything like this bother you or not, should still just enjoy wearing them?
