I get my shoes for free from the Navy. The brand is Propet and are well built orthopedic types but I did pull a calf muscle trying to run in them last year.

I am recently retired and since I am type 2; I can get up to two pair a year. I can run fine; it is the neuropathy that qualifies I suppose.

@Trippy I served from 1979 to 2002. I started receiving benefits and money in 2019. It was a wait but if you survive until 60 years of age; it is a rather nice financial cushion. 😊
