I wear heels a lot of the time in man mode - heels under long jeans. I like to think of myself as enjoying fashion freedom, just as women do.

Fortunately I'm not very tall - about 5'8"- so I don't tower over people. Friends would notice a difference in height, probably. Some know I wear heels and the rest haven't commented
