I always thought they looked good. But maybe it was more of a novelty. Myself I prefer that both nipples are the same whether pierced or not. Only doing one seems asymmetrical to me and strange. One persons pain tolerance is different than another. So if you are scared of pain I'm not sure it would be worth it in my opinion.
