Looking for more.

Have a cool friend at work who plans to put two more holes in each ear. 👍 apparently there’s a cringe factor to improvised diy, since she has “proper tools”

Why is it cringe? I've done my ears in 4 areas by myself. The pain is ehhh if you really want it done your mindset takes over.

@iQuit I didn’t think it was horrible. She said poking holes that big will leave bumps and end up ragged

@Powderflask All holes heal eventually if you stop wearing earrings. When you touch the areas where it's been healed you feel a slight dip inward. Thing is, always remembering having some sort disinfectant solution when the piercing is new because it's easy to forget and end up with an infection. Those type of scenarios are simply horrible. Regardless if you do it at home or have it done by someone else.

@iQuit I agree I figured a hole is a hole. I used a leather working needle for my ears last time

@Powderflask Very smart choice. (I should have looked into those, I used regular sowing needles) lol Thankfully sowing thimbles exists.

I think she had it done at first but had to reopen it herself.

In cases like those, the more recent it's been sealed the easier and less painful it can be. Nonetheless piercing cartilage will always hurt just a bit.
