The cycle never ends

Started a new crochet project this weekend. I haven't done any crochet since last year, which, if you know me, two months of not making knots with a stick is unheard of.

I decided to use up some left over yarn I had.

Realized about 3/4ths of the way of one skein, (I'm using 2 skeins together) I was going to run out of left over yarn.

Crocheters already see what is coming...

So, I ordered 2 more skeins of the yarn I'd need.

An hour later realized, nope 2 wasn't going to be enough. Ordered 2 more. (Thankfully, they were 45% off!)

An hour after that, remembered that I had already anticipated needing a second skein and had gotten it.

So now, I will have more left over yarn.

I have so much yarn that I’ve made a pact with myself that before beginning each new project, I will use whatever yarn I have. I’m almost through with the throw blanket for my niece, and have started a lavender scarf for my middle sister.

@bijouxbroussard I try that, but then whatever pattern i want to do requires a different yarn than what I have. And when i use my left over yarn, i end up needing more of it. I gave up trying lol
