Just to add I had no intention of completing them with that awful horizontal line. I planned to make the mitten as a flap so it's easy to use your fingers for things. But my colleague Insisted that she didn't like it like that and wanted me to finish it. I didn't bring my round needles and she said she didn't care which I thought was off as its a gift.
But I listened to her and now I will be able to give them to her tomorrow after I wash them.
