I've been making cute fingerless mitts for my mum. The yarn is British blue wool by Erika Knight. It comes in lovely colours like 'Classic' a gorgeous petrol/grey, in cute little dinky 25g skeins. @Strongtea It's a shame that these hobbies aren't as popular as they used to be. My mum used to love hand knitting until she got arthritis. She did try a knitting machine once but ended up wanting to take a hammer to it!
@Eclecticallysound I’ve never tried crocheting (i may have tried at school or something but I can’t remember!) You’re inspiring me to get the knitting needles out! I’d love to learn!
