I never liked things around my neck or around my wrists - despite wearing armbands for a certain period of time. Though I would say that my reasoning for not wearing one now has changed - we are shackled by time, and placing a constant reminder aroundmy arm would only remind me of this.
Losing track of time is the only way to be free of it temporarily, I suppose.
