I Love Men In High Heels

I have an ongoing interesting situation with three mature ladies in the business I operate part-time. We've recently been on two company trainings together, travelling in the same car. The first time, I turned up at the house of the driver and was greeted with the words, 'You're the odd one out. We're all wearing skirts.' I was also the odd one out in that I was wearing 4.5 inch heels under my jeans, but that wasn't mentioned! The conversation during the trip there and home was punctuated by clothes talk, including what we should all wear to the next training to be colour coordinated. No mention was made of me wearing a skirt! Indeed, one was wearing jeans the next time. They didn't suit her, either - her hips are quite generous.

I sent one of them a message after the first time, asking for clarification 'for my male brain' of what they were talking about. She found it all very amusing, in a nice way. The three of them obviously regard me as the fourth member of a very good friendship.

We'll be going on another such training at the end of this month, so I'll see if anything is said about clothes then.

There will be a company conference in July, and I will be going across the stage for reaching a new level in the business, and the same woman was talking about considering the outfits we were to wear - all three will be on stage too. I expect she at least will be wearing heels. She used to wear them a lot, but recently has had knee problems. I have a few weeks in which to test the temperature but I'm wondering whether this is a moment to appear in stilettos rather then my usual wedges and block heels! Across the stage in front of over 3000 people, in stilettos? I don't think the world is ready for me in a skirt yet, although I'm told repeatedly that I have great legs...
