gorgy ! <3 .. walking about in heels just takes practice . you may have to find your own center regarding balance during movement .. there may be different ways to try ? . maybe try walking as if your mostly tiptoe ing and just using the heel to land a bit . but always hold the weight on the ball of your foot ? and then try different weight balances after ?

@cdCalandraBelle Good advice. I seemed to be able to walk in heels naturally from the start, but for some I suppose it's a serious readjustment of walking style. Platforms like this are not the easiest, of course. I'd recommend boots with thin soles and wedge or fairly wide heels to start with, as they support the foot well, so you're less likely to twist an ankle. Personally I find stilettos easier and safer to walk in than block heels, but I know some people find the stability of a wide heel more reassuring - at least on smooth surfaces. On rough surfaces a stiletto with a thin sole is more stable as it's not tilting with the ground like a rigid sole and wide heel do.
