Halloween is around the corner

@ronisme1 whats your go to give away candy?

@CookieCrisp chocolate bars and a handful of misc. My wife buys about 40-60 lbs every year. We usually have around 200 kids and adults

@ronisme1 if you said full size candy bars i would have dropped by lol

@CookieCrisp we have 1 box of full sized for neighbors and their kids

@ronisme1 neighbors, their kids.... and me of course

@CookieCrisp what do you want, hersheys, baby ruth, butterfingers, or payday?

@ronisme1 of those i would get the butterfingers, you guys dont get all crazy about handing out candy to adults? i dont actually go out anymore, but my freshman year in college i did and people were not having it lol

@CookieCrisp its halloween. The adults dress up to and deserve some candy. Everybody gets some. My wife also buys small toys for kids not allowed the sweets. (And pretzel packs) i have never figured out why they go treat-or- treating if they cant eat candy. I figure its for the adults

@ronisme1 i laugh at that when we hand out candy too, like the little kid runs up and wants the candy and a mom from the street yells out they can only have natural treats, i am always like, oh boy, you went to the wrong house and throw some real candy in the kids bag lol

@CookieCrisp thats never happened yet. We offer adults some candy. Usually just the women come up to get some

@CookieCrisp halloween is a good time to meet new neighbors. Met 3 new couples last year thst moved in on the block

@ronisme1 oh fun, always good to meet the neighbors. i am not great with that

@CookieCrisp they come to us. Now one of my neighbors always yells "Hi Ron" from halfway down the block. She is very friendly and i offered her some handfuls of candy when they ran out last year. In fact, i had 2 new neighbors i did that to.

@ronisme1 lookout, your wife may have issues with you handing out all the candy to the new ladies on the block lol

@CookieCrisp i give it to their husbands too. They just dont come to get it as much
