Have you been out there to make friends without dressing up? Don't go real pretty but just decent and meet people that way. Some are attracted to just looks and so those will come to you more as you dress up. Not at all saying that's right for them to do.

I have extremely high social anxiety with mild agoraphobia and avoidance. Unless someone comes to get me or I have a specific plan to meet someone I usually don’t even leave my house. I’m trying very hard to make friends and meet people any way I can but I was abandoned by my husband after moving across the country right after my daughter’s death. I am trying but I get weary. @froggtongue
