So last year, I spent more than I intended to and ordered custom moccasin boots from a vendor at a rennaisance fair, and they finally arrived! I have never had custom-fit, custom-designed boots before, and I'm definitely not regretting the decision.
Now I just need all the fun, outdoorsy activities I was planning on wearing them to to happen again, and I'll be all set!

@timbuktu97 There were people at the booth that day that were saying they mowed the lawn and shoveled snow in their boots, didn't do all the fancy upkeep, and they're still in great condition. I'm not going to do that, but supposedly they're quite durable.
