PLZ NO
@Dewmsberry: MY BOYFRIEND HAS LOVELY EYES! 😣
in bed sleeping alone

As opposed to what?
@IvanKaramazov: i'm just giving examples!!!
And I'm saying, if you're some kind of plant fetishist, you should stand by that. Don't let people shame you into silence. Be loud, be proud.
@IvanKaramazov: AhahaahahahahahahaHAhaha!! i appreciate this support 🤗🌱💚

@Dewmsberry: tbh i'm that person who'd probably die first in a horror movie because i always check where the sound is coming from. Knowing me, I'd probably still turn to check
@HijabbaDabbaDoo: LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gurllll Hahahahahahaa

It would just be my cat getting ready to snuggle up and go to sleep. No big worry.
Whew!

It would be one of my dogs….I’d turn & check, but that’s what it would be.

Check it out, for sure. I actually experienced hypnogogia like that this morning. I was trying to go back to sleep, and i heard thos loud-ass bang and felt like something had slammed down on my bed. I went from half asleep to fully alert with my heart pounding away.

@Dewmsberry: As well you should! It is the only true freedom, imo. Its called lucid dreaming, and it's scientific fact that virtually anyone can do it, with practice. ^^ I'm a bit jelly of people who have sleep paralysis, because it makes lucid dreaming a lot easier.
@PlacidWolverine: WHAAAAT that's how to do lucid dreaming?! that's fascinating and also scary O___O haven't you done it?
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@Dewmsberry: Lol, ikr. It's one way. There are easier and unscary methods (although, dreaming can still be scary, but totally worth it for God powers, right. :p), but the dreams are most vivid with "wake induced lucid dreaming" or "WILD", where your mind never falls asleep, but your body does.

There's all kinds of methods. Mnemonic induced lucid dreaming, or "MILD", is where you tell yourself right before falling asleep that you will realize you're dreaming when you're dreaming. Then, when you're fixing to fall asleep, you imagine the dreamscape you'd like to visit. But, this is usually best done after 4-6 hours of sleep, because dreams get longer and longer as the night goes on, and aren't very vivid or long in the first half of sleep.

Reality checks throughout the day are the main thing. You question whether or not you're dreaming, and preform some action that has a different effect in the waking amd dream worlds. Like trying to turn on a light (in a dream, it wont work or the light will look weird). Or, try to poke your fingers through your palm. If they go through, youre dreaming. So, you check to see which world you're in like 5-15 times a day. Doing this alone, eventually, you will do it in your dreams and realize that you're dreaming.

But, for starters, one has to have good dream recall. If you can't remember your dreams, there's no point. So, the first step for anyone is writing in a dream journal every time you wake up.

Well. There's a loooot to it, heh. World-of-lucid-dreaming.com is a great website for everything lucid, if you are interested by it. :) I think it's the best thing in the world. ^^

Oh. Ive done MILD and some other methods. Ive had a good amount of lucid dreams. But, ive neVer done WILD. Ive gotten to the point where your body starts vibrating really crazily, but it freaked me out and i couldnt stick with it. Haha. It does take some getting used to, for sure. Apparently, right after the buzzing, you feel like your body just starts falling or floating upwards really fast.
I'm home alone. Is not funny. 😥
