@Ratatouillesque: I have. And that is a thing in some areas. You can see in some places that darker skinned Africans and Indians aren't hired as much for tv or modelling as lighter skinned ones. What's more is in Mexico for example, you get treated worse if you're more Amerind looking.

@HereToEntertainSW: I don't think that either. She is Middle Eastern and Middle Easterners are treated badly in many places. I think she might not have understood it based on phrasing. Bear in mind English is her third language.

@Ratatouillesque: I got what you said. It's mainly due to the phrasing that was confusing. Also, you live in a country where there aren't really that many people dealing with colourism, although obviously discrimination does happen. Where I live I see it, because my country is very diverse so I have seen the way that people of colour get screwed over. I don't think you're ignorant nor racist.
@Ratatouillesque: I get what you are saying, and i hope reality was like that but unfortunately i live in an area where its the main topic. From social media to getting gas at a gas station. Where I live it if you are lighter skin (not necessarily Caucasian) darker skin gets treated less. Im not saying they get tortured but they dont have certain privileges that many lighter skin people have. Im sorry i cam off the wrong way, I do have one question, why did you automatically assumed that I was being racist here.
A random side not - Caucasian actually doesn't mean European. Some idiot Blumenbach associated Caucasians with Europeans. Actual people from the Caucasus are Middle Eastern. See Georgians, Armenians, Ossetians, Azeris and Daghestanis.
@TheUltimateSaturn: How badly Roma people get treated?! Are you kidding me? Are you here in Romania to even know what you are talking about? Gypsies here have rights. We take care of them, there are special places in universities just for them so they will rather come and study than be uneducated and beg. We are extremely tolerant with all kinds of minorities here. The fact that some rroma people don't want to work and choose to fly to other countries in hopes of getting social benefits is another thing. That, Romania provides for none of their citisens.
