I thought they dropped the line because sales went down?

@briyeli: you are right about political factors..Indirectly it is politically charged since a significant amount of consumers aren't in support of Trump

@vaneese: Actually that's where you're wrong. I shop at Nordstrom with my friends all the time. Out of them I'm the only liberal. It's about equal proportion of conservatives and liberals at Nordstrom. Mostly rich ppl (+conservatism) and young ppl (+liberalism) so it evens out. They took her out because the ppl in control of Nordstrom hate trump; it had nothing to do with the consumers there.

@briyeli: You are probably right but other stores that carry her line like zappos, Macy's, Bloomingdales have reported a drop in sales for her products too. But I haven't heard any news about them dropping the line.

@vaneese: maybe they're afraid to because they don't want to be a target of Trump's ridiculous tweets. Who knows.
