Men of the world, why are you so afraid of wearing tights?

I wear tights. But mostly I wear leggings. It's becoming more common for guys to wear leggings these days. I don't do that shorts over tights thing. I think it looks lame. I just wear a longer shirt with the leggings. I've been told I look good in tights, so there you go.
