What is the stereotype of girls/women who wear Alice bands/headbands?

I saw an insta post yesterday that was making fun of people who wear them. It also mentioned other really specific things that my girlf wears (Hobbs pleated skirts and shirts from White Stuff.)
I know I shouldn’t get too bothered about this but it’s upsetting knowing people think what my girlf wears is lame/silly.
(The post wasn’t directly about my girlf, just people like her I suppose. It seemed to be saying that she is some kind of ‘stupid posh white girl’ but I’m not too sure.)

I actually love hairbands and bandanas. Gorgeous much?

Hey thanks, I think they’re really pretty too!@H1raeth
Why is it upsetting at all? The Internet at large has stupid opinions all the time then changes its mind on a whim. You literally don't have to care and I'm sure she's lovely as she is. 🤷🏾

@DancingStarGoddess I think you are spot on. It’s like looking at google search and hoping to see something useful or hoping that the Sunday paper supplements will be worth reading. Often the journalists are so desperate they s
Make an article out of nothing. As you say Strongtea it’s shallow and we should not encourage it
